The Comprehensive Reader

You like knowing exactly where you stand with the books you already have.

You are not overwhelmed by unread books. You are overwhelmed by not knowing where things stand.

You want to know which book you stopped halfway through. Which series you paused. Which book you finished and can mentally close.

Epigramm is built for readers who want their reading life to feel settled instead of fuzzy.

Clarity matters more than completion

You do not need to finish everything immediately. You just want to know what is unfinished and why.

Reading becomes stressful when books sit in limbo. Was this a book you meant to come back to? Or one you already decided was not for you?

Epigramm helps you make those decisions explicit so you do not keep rethinking them.

What Epigramm helps you keep straight

The status of every book you own

Every book in Epigramm is a real book in your library. You are never tracking imaginary future reading. Unread. Currently reading. Finished. Paused. Abandoned. You can see at a glance what is actually open and what is already closed.

Where you are inside a series

Series only feel stressful when you lose your place. Books shown in the correct reading order. A clear marker for the last book you read. An obvious answer to "what comes next". No more guessing or rechecking.

Multiple reading threads at once

You often have more than one thing going. That should not turn into chaos. See everything you are currently reading. See what you intentionally paused. Keep those two things separate.

Why you stopped or moved on

The reason matters. Otherwise you keep reopening the same decision. Notes on why you paused a book. Notes on why you abandoned one. Reminders of what you would need to reread before continuing.

What this lets you do

  • Open the app and immediately know what is unfinished
  • Pick your next book without rethinking old decisions
  • Close books mentally when you are done with them
  • Stop feeling like your reading life is scattered
  • Export your reading list and notes if you want a backup

The benefit is not more reading. The benefit is less mental noise.

Sharing progress without oversharing

Sometimes you want to share where you are. Not everything you are tracking.

Epigramm lets you share:

  • A card showing how far you are in a series
  • A snapshot of your current read
  • A quote from a book you are enjoying

You never have to expose your full library or all your unfinished books.

Why this feels calming instead of stressful

Unclear reading lists create low level stress. You feel like something is always hanging open.

Epigramm replaces that with clear answers. You know what you are reading. You know what you stopped. You know what you are done with.

That clarity makes reading feel lighter again.

Questions that matter if you read in systems

What happens if I am reading several books or series at the same time?
Epigramm is built for parallel reading. You can have multiple books marked as currently reading at once, across different series or collections, without losing track of where you left off.
How does Epigramm handle stopping partway through a book?
You can explicitly mark a book as paused or abandoned. That decision is recorded so you do not keep reopening the same question later. You can also attach a note explaining why.
If I abandon a book, does it disappear from view?
No. Abandoned books remain visible as abandoned. They are not treated as unfinished business, but they are not erased from your history either.
Can I tell which book comes next in a series without rechecking?
Yes. Epigramm keeps books in series order and clearly shows which owned volume is next based on your reading history.
What if I come back to a series months later?
Your position is preserved. You can see where you stopped, what you last read, and any notes you left for yourself about what needs to be reread.
Can I change my mind later about a book's status?
Yes. Status is editable. If you return to a paused or abandoned book, you can move it back into active reading without losing previous notes.
Can I get a clean view of only what is unfinished?
Yes. You can filter your library to see only unread and in-progress books, without finished or abandoned titles cluttering the view.
Can I export my library with statuses and notes intact?
Yes. Your reading history, book statuses, and notes are exportable. This allows you to keep an external backup or migrate later if needed.

Does sharing affect my library or statuses?

No. Sharing creates a separate visual output. It does not change your library, your statuses, or your notes.
